“Big ‘Ound Rhodesian Ridgeback brooch

I love all dogs, but there will forever be a special place in my heart for the Rhodesian Ridgeback.

This brooch is based on my very first ridgie, Druss the Legend (otherwise known as Big 'Ound).  The rascally-est hound I ever met, and good lord could he rock a blingy collar!!!

At least 10.00 pounds from each brooch will be donated to Ridgeback Rescue - you can read all about the great work they do here. 

Each brooch is made to order - I sketch out each brooch before hand piercing it from recycled copper sheet - each brooch has subtle differences, meaning each is unique.  I then add a "collar" in recycled sterling silver with cubic zirconia gemstones in a colour of your choice.  The brooch pin is stainless steel for strength, with sterling silver fittings.  Each brooch measures approximately 45mm x 55mm - if you're going to have one, have a big one, right??!!

If you particularly want your brooch facing one way or the other, let me know, as they do tend to vary according to which hand I'm holding my mug in at the time of sketching!

Your brooch will be presented in eco-friendly packaging, along with a complimentary cleaning cloth and a few tips on how to care for it to keep it looking its best.

These brooches are unhallmarked.  I always strive to turn orders around as quickly as possible - please allow two to three weeks.
